On 3 and 4 December 2021, the sons and daughters of Kananga will take another gamble with their history. The aim is to resolutely set a course for the future, by focusing on in-depth reflection on the future of their village in the short, medium and long term.
Reflection preceding action, the first day of work will be done in committees, for results and resolutions that will be adopted in plenary, for general communication the next day. It should be noted that preliminary actions on this plan were undertaken several months ago. The work currently in progress is essentially aimed at consolidating what has been thought up to now.
The ceremonial part of the Extraordinary Congress will essentially take place on Saturday 4 December 2021, in the early morning in Kananga and Yaoundé during a gala evening to which some potential partners, supporters and institutions of various kinds have been invited. The aim is to present the potential of Kananga and to attract investors, in the framework of winning partnerships.
At the end of the Extraordinary Congress of the Kananga Village Development Committee (CDK), it is expected, among other things
– The identification of priority projects for the well-being of the inhabitants of the village;
– The definition of a model for the participation of Kananga in the development of the village;
– The search for and implementation of partnerships with public and private institutions and international organisations;
– Revision of the CDK Statutes;
– The election and assumption of duties of a new Executive Board; – Greater and better visibility of Kananga.
