Following the Extraordinary Congress of the Kananga Village Development Committee (CDK) on December 3 and 4, 2021, a new Executive Office took charge. It is constituted as follows:

– President: Me Valentin SONGOLO BETILENE

– Secretary General: Franck Ghislain MBOUNAGA

– Treasurer: Valérie AMBASSA

– Deputy Treasurer: Augustine EBISSIENINE

– Auditor: Hubert Kisito MUOLOBO

– Special advisor: Dr Ferdinand Paul ENOKA

Elected for a four-year term, the Executive Office’s main mission is to work on the most urgent social issues in Kananga. This primarily concerns the health of the population and the improvement of the educational offerings in the local public school. The actions undertaken will be based on the contributions of Kananga sons and daughters, but also on lobbying actions aimed at decision-makers and other donors.

The adoption of new Statutes for the CDK saw the creation of a new body, namely the Council of Elders.
